Rich magenta raw silk is dotted with gold zardozi buti and anchored by tall teardrop medallions that rise from a layered, scalloped hem. The border is densely worked in zardozi, kundan, cutdana, beads and pearls, with a lace-like scalloped edge that catches the light as the skirt moves. The sweetheart-neck blouse carries a floral zardozi bodice, a medallion on each sleeve and scalloped cuffs. At the back it opens in a deep scoop, tied with a slim dori that ends in beaded tassels, and a scalloped hem echoes the skirt border. A matching embroidered waistband finishes the lehenga. Two dupattas complete the set. A sheer organza dupatta has a scalloped zardozi border, and a net dupatta has a straight embroidered border and a scatter of golden florets. They can be draped together or worn separately.
