- Jodhpuri – Jodhpuri is one of the most popular choices for grooms as well as for groomsmen! Jodhpuris were initially worn by people of the Jodhpur region. This ensemble includes a coat, trousers, and a vest. It resembles a western suit in Indian fashion. Grooms should choose jodhpuris in fabrics like brocade or velvet for a more festive look. Both cotton and silk jodhpuris are great options for groomsmen!
- Bandi, also known as sadri, has long been a part of our culture. It
is a sleeveless vest jacket worn over a shirt or a kurta. Wear a sadri in a different colour than
the kurta for a more festive look, or keep it simple by wearing the bandi and
kurta in the same color. Bandis can be designed in various colours and fabrics to create different looks for different occasions. - Bandhgala – Famously known as the Nehru Jacket, Bandhgala has a mandarin collar, front buttons, and high shoulders. You can layer it up by choosing the same colours like the classic black on black, or play it up with motifs. For a sophisticated, traditional, and vintage look, pair it up with a contrasting pocket square and crisp dhoti pants.
- Kurta – Though this style is not new or trendy, it is definitely a classic choice for any occasion. When it comes to fabric and style, there is a lot of room for experimentation. Silk, cotton, linen, and chikankari are the most loved fabrics for kurtas. With the help of your designer, you may give your outfit special touches like a new collar style, a different button configuration, or asymmetrical cuts!
